Music Minds Matter is Help Musicians' dedicated mental health service for anybody working in music. The phone line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 0808 802 8008. Music Minds Matter Explore provides online resources, personal stories, guidance from professionals and organisations offering further support.
Music Connections is Northern Ireland’s essential online hub for musicians and industry professionals, dedicated to fostering the development and success of the region’s music sector. In partnership with Belfast City Council, we offer a wealth of resources, from funding opportunities and mental health support to a directory of essential service providers including PR specialists, management firms, recording studios, and creative hubs.
The IntAct Directory is a curated team of highly trained wellness and safety professionals and organisations, offering a range of services to individuals, companies and institutions. All have specific experience and understanding of using their respective fields of work in the Entertainment business.
Music Support is an independent charity with team members who have first-hand experience or are closely connected to the issues addressed by the organisation within its community. It provides services to peers who have experienced challenges around substance use and/or mental health, alongside providing support for their family and friends and the wider music industry. The organisation offers a person-centred, safe space to connect and receive specialist help, confidentially and without judgement

Offering preventive, emergency, and recovery programs, MusiCares is a safety net supporting the health and welfare of the music community. Founded by the Recording Academy in 1989 as a U.S. based, independent 501(c)(3) charity, MusiCares safeguards the well-being of all music people through direct financial grant programs, networks of support resources, and tailored crisis relief efforts
Backline is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources. We are building a safer and more supported music industry by connecting our community with quality mental health care resources that understand this line of work.
The SIMS Foundation provides mental health and substance use recovery services and supports for musicians, music industry professionals, and their dependent family members. Through education, community partnerships, and accessible managed care, SIMS seeks to destigmatize and reduce mental health and substance use issues, while supporting and enhancing the wellbeing of the music community at large.

Support Act is the heart and hand of the Australian music industry. We are the music industry's charity, providing crisis relief, mental health and wellbeing support to musicians, managers, crew, music workers and organisations across all genres of music. We deliver this through short term financial support; funeral support; mental health prevention, education and training programs; the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Program; and the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline. Support Act is an industry leader in cultural and behavourial change, and we strive to create a safe and thriving music industry for all, including dedicated culturally intelligent support for First Nations music workers.
